SMWWF: Supervisory Management in the Water/Wastewater Field

Course Description:

Seven lessons present basic management principles in a lifelike case study format. Course earns 6.0 CEUs. Lesson content includes:

• Importance and Function of a Manager
• The Manager's Responsibility toward Delegation and Motivation
• The Supervisor's Need for Problem-Solving and Communication Skills
• Planning/Organization
• Staffing
• The Manager's Responsibility in Leading and Controlling
• Managerial Relations with the Union and Employees
