HOMECMP: Introduction to Home Computing
Course Description: Introduction to Home Computing is designed to provide participants with the basic skills necessary to operate and, where practical, maintain and upgrade personal computers. A required two-credit undergraduate course for the Bachelor of Science in Crop and Soil Sciences, CSS110 may also be taken on a non-credit basis (as HOMECMP). While a small portion of the course focuses on computer programs used in agronomy, it is largely a general overview of personal computers, appropriate for non-specialist participants. Please note that the for-credit and non-credit options are not offered every semester.
