H2ODRAIN: Watershed Concepts and Management for Local Officials, Public Administrators and Practitioners
 Course Description: Michigan State University is now offering an Internet-based course specifically to educate Local Officials, Public Administrators and Practitioners of the foundations of watershed hydrology and management. This non-credit eight-week program is an opportunity for you to update your skills to meet the challenges of resource management under the watershed approach framework, as well as preparing you to understand and meet EPA's Phase 2 storm water regulations. This course will cover the hydrologic cycle, soil properties, stream and river systems, water quality, aquatic ecosystems, and point and non point regulatory framework.
